I was skeptical but glad I made the purchase. I recently went to Colorado to go snowboarding. I'm very far from pro and fell plenty of times on my tailbone. I had a herniated disc 2 years ago and wanted to make sure I would keep my tailbone safe. This product works amazingly. After dozens of backend falls I had absolutely no pain. Worth the purchase!

Ripple Impact Shorts are awesome! Super comfortable & they really protected me. I'm a beginner snowboarder & fell lots, but it didn't hurt at all.

I ordered a pair of impact shorts to assuage my nerves on slope. I had been falling over a lot, mostly landed in seated position with force. Since using a pair of these shorts I have not had the pain from hard landings after a day of boarding. I put it down to reduced fall-anxiety and therefore greater confidence keeping the numbers of falls down, as well as when the falls have happened they aren't hurting.
The shorts themselves are a discreet fit, going nicely over my base layer. They breathe well and don't hold smell. I have been machine washing them to no ill effect.
Could not recommend more, great value for money. Made boarding more enjoyable. Less fear, more fun!

This was my first season snowboarding and I was getting tired of my but being sore for 3 days after going. I got these mid season since it’s been icy and lemme tell ya, game changer. Falls don’t really hurt and when they do, the pain doesn’t last long. I’m claustrophobic too and don’t really notice them. Can’t even see them under my pants. Awesome product and at a very decent price.

I bought a pair of these. Used them recently for the first time. I was impressed. They worked very well, added excellent support and padding when I fell. My only advice. Check sizing. I am a 36 inch waist and bought an XL. I should have got an XXL. Great product, no less.

I haven't taken a hard fall with these on yet, but they definitely add insulation for cold night riding as I am not sitting directly on cold metal or snow. I had a sizing issue, on the website my measurements put me at a medium, but the small is really what I needed so that the pads didn't move under my pants and so that the padding was in the correct spots for impact protection. The customer service team was awesome and sent out the correct size within hours of contacting them, no questions asked. I am looking forward to riding the rails harder and I am sure I will test out the impact protection of the smaller size. Keep shredding, friends!

I ordered both these bottom protection as well as the knee pads. I measured both as instructed to do so and the knee pads were correct in size. I ordered a large size for the crash pants. They felt a little big so I reached out to customer support and got a response within 24 hours and additionally, had the issue resolved quickly. Great service and the product looks like it will be very effective come winter time. Hopefully learning to snowboard with these on won’t be nearly as painful as without. Thanks!

Now I personally like quite a few sports, which doesn’t include only snowboarding but also skating, and these shorts are useful for both. They work very well, I probably would’ve broken a bone by now without them, though I do have the issue of the fabric tearing at a few spots a little faster than I believe it should have, and hip coverage slightly to small for me and not protecting every drops. Still, a very good product I would recommend, only could use a few optimizations!

These were perfect! Last year I started snowboarding, and we all know what happens, you fall down a lot and hurt your bum. My bum was covered in bruises!! This year I used Rippl's impact shorts and they gave me full protection. I felt so much more confident! I'm a size 10 and the small fitted great!
